Education Center: Course Offerings for Spring 2005 December, 2004—Assumption College's Corporation Education Center is pleased to offer several professional workshops and seminars during the Spring 2005 semester. The registration deadline for all of the following offerings is January 18, 2005. A 14-week certificate program in Medical Coding & Billing begins January 19, 2005. Seating is limited. Beginning the week of January 24, 2005, workshops in Microsoft Office XP and Web Design with Dreamweaver MX will be held. The Microsoft Office XP workshop will take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the Dreamweaver MX workshop will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Corporation Education Center presents Essentials of Human Resources Management, a 15-hour seminar beginning January 25, 2005. This seminar is for managers and those seeking to enter the field of Human Resources. Discounts are available for HRMA, SHRM, and NEHRA members. Also in cooperation with SHRM, the Corporation Education Center presents The SHRM Learning System, a 35-hour seminar and test-prep course for HR professionals and those preparing to take the national PHR/SPHR Certification Exams. The course begins January 26, 2005. Discounts are available for HRMA, SHRM, and NEHRA members.
