Recital with Alison Burns, soprano, and Olga Rogach, pianist

College presents a vocal recital with Alison Burns, soprano and
Olga Rogach, pianist, on Sunday, April 24, 2005, at 3 p.m. at the
Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
Ms. Burns, a senior at Assumption, will be recognized for her excellence
as a music major at this year’s Honors Convocation on April
21. A trained vocalist, Burns has been a part of the Chapel Choir,
the Acapella group, and numerous AC Upstage theatre performances
throughout her college career.
Olga Rogach is acclaimed for her recitals and collaborations with
instrumentalists and soloists. She received a degree in piano studies
from Russia’s St. Petersburg Conservatory, which acknowledged
her artistry with a special award for notable performances of Bach’s
solo keyboard music. A leading regional piano teacher, Ms. Rogach
received the “Outstanding Faculty” award from the Performing
Arts School of Worcester where she was a faculty member for 10 years.
Ms. Rogach appears extensively in New England, often as chamber
musician or accompanist.
