Jeremy Black to Lecture on Public History
Worcester, MA - Professor Jeremy Black of the University of Exeter in England will present a lecture entitled "Public History: Its Uses and Abuses" on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Testa Science Center's Fuller Auditorium.
Black will also present lectures earlier in the day on March 1 in Professor Lance Lazar’s classes at 10:30 a.m. in IT 137 and at 2:30 p.m. in Testa 217. All lectures are free and open to the public.
Black studies post 1500 military history, eighteenth-century British history, international relations, cartographic history and newspaper history. He has published more than 60 volumes in several languages and lectures at major universities throughout the world.
