Beck Institute Workshop: "Cognitive Therapy of Depression: From Action to Insight (and Back Again)" with Steven D. Hollon, Ph.D.

April, 2005—Assumption College's Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies presents "Cognitive Therapy of Depression: From Action to Insight (and Back Again)," a workshop with Steven D. Hollon, Ph.D., on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of La Maison Francaise.

Dr. Hollon’s workshop will focus on integrating the specific behavioral and cognitive change strategies that have traditionally formed the core of the approach within the framework of more recent theoretical extensions developed to deal with long-standing personality disorders, using a combination of various techniques and presentations.

Steven D. Hollon, Ph.D., is a professor of Psychology at Vanderbilt University, past president of the Association for Behavior Therapy, and a former Litchfield Lecturer at Oxford University. Dr. Hollon has published over 130 articles, chapters and books, focusing primarily in the etiology and treatment of depression.

A fee of $45 is required for this workshop. Further information can be obtained by calling (508) 767-7390.
