Dr. William Talley
New Director of ISRS

Dr. William Talley, the new director of ISRS, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation. He has more than 11 years of teaching experience and almost two decades of experience as a counselor, over six years as an academic administrator and experience as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, group therapist and disability examiner. Dr. Talley is a certified rehabilitation counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and a licensed practical counselor. He is an accomplished grant writer, consultant and speaker who has been recognized by Governor Glendenning of Maryland and Congressman Elizah Cummings (D-MD).

The accomplishments of Dr. Talley are consistent with the high standards set by his predecessor, Dr. George S. Elias, (who currently serves ISRS as professor emeritus). Dr. Elias' career as a rehabilitation educator is remarkable. An author, grant writer, educator, and outstanding administrator, he has received numerous honors during his 30 years of service to ISRS at Assumption College. The following is a list of the full time faculty whose accomplishments are too numerous to include here.

Lance W. Carluccio, Ph.D.; Rev. Terence Dougherty, O.C.D.; Geraldine Hansen, Ed.D.; Oscar Harrell, Ph.D.; Fred McGinn, Rh.D.; John G. Moline, Ph.D.; John Pelletier, Sc.D.; Richard Raymond, M.A.; Susan Sabelli, M.A., C.A.G.S.; Susan Scully, Ph.D.; David Siddle, Ph.D.; David St. John, Ed.D.; and Charles Stuart, Ph.D. ISRS also has 47 part-time (adjunct) faculty with impressive credentials in counseling and rehabilitation.
