Part-time ISRS program:
New Bedford, MA and Providence, RI
The Institute for Social and Rehabilitation Services has two satellite programs which offer a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling to full-time agency personnel. The program in New Bedford began more than 20 years ago, while the Providence program started in 1990. The requirements for graduation are the same as at the main campus.
Dr. John Pelletier was recently hired to coordinate these off-campus programs. He previously worked full-time and taught at Assumption on a part-time basis.
A ceremony and reception were recently held in New Bedford to recognize
students who completed the requirements for a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation
Counseling during the summer. These students attended classes at the satellite
campus at the Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital in New Bedford.
