Three New Trustees Join Assumption's Board

Assumption College operates under a charter granted by the Common-wealth of Massachusetts. The College is a corporation engaged primarily in instructional activities and governed by a board of trustees.
The board of trustees, 26 individuals, have all the authority and power to manage and control the business and property of the College.
The trustees' powers normally are directed at strategic concerns and policy matters. They hire the president to direct and manage the affairs of the College. Among their many powers, trustees approve and review the educational programs of the College, approve tuition and fees and the annual budget of the College, authorize purchase or sale of land, and construction and major renovation of buildings.
Any quality college has a quality board of trustees. Assumption College has been well served over the years by the trustees who have volunteered their expertise towards the successful execution of the mission of the College.
One of the ongoing responsibilities of the board of trustees is to nominate new trustees and re-elect trustees to additional terms of service. Assumption College is proud to announce three new trustees who have been elected to serve on the board.
