Professor Gold had been a member of the education faculty since 1991. She specializes in teaching mathematics to both undergraduate education and graduate special education students. Some of the course she teaches include: Teaching and Learning in the Elementary School, Secondary Curriculum and Methods in Mathematics, Practicum and Seminar in Secondary Education, and Introduction to Mathematics.

Dr. Vander Hart has been a member of the education faculty since 1999. She is currently preparing two manuscripts for publication: “Garland Studies on Industrial Productivity and The Type and Frequency of Social Relationships of Supported Employees Practice: Implications for Supported Employment Practice”. Dr. Vander Hart also teaches the course, Inclusion: Theory and Classroom Practice at the graduate level.

Dr. Stutz has been a faculty member since 1995 and was named the Chairperson of the Education Department in 2003. She received the Massachusetts Professor of the Year Award in 2006. The courses she teaches at the graduate level include: Teaching and Learning: Concepts and Models and Seminar in Literacy: Processes of Reading and Responding. Dr. Stutz thesis title for her Ph.D. is “The Soul of Life: Literature, Moral Awareness, and Teaching”.

Dr. Vandergrift is a Neuropsychologist, a Licensed Psychologist (RI & PA), and a Licensed Educational Psychologist (MA).  He completed his Ph.D. from Duquesne University in 1999, completed postgraduate studies in psychoanalysis at the Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis (Cambridge, MA), and received his postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology by renowned neuropsychologist Elkhonon Goldberg, Ph.D. in New York.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology, an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association, and a Member of the National Association of School Psychologists.

Dr. Vandergrift has a wealth of experience in quantitative and qualitative clinical, neuropsychological and educational testing and consultation.  Since 2000, he has provided clinical and assessment services to children, adolescents and adults in Massachusetts, where he maintains a small private practice and a limited liability partnership which serve the clinical and assessment needs of adults and professional religious personnel. 

Dr. Vandergrift joined the staff of the NeuroDevelopment Center in 2007 to provide neuropsychological assessments and psychotherapy services.
