The Graduate School: Assumption College

Campus Facilities at Assumption College

Our campus is set on 180 park-like acres, just a few miles from downtown Worcester.

Assumption's campus has undergone a remarkable renaissance over the last 10 years.
Our campus offers the best of both worlds for graduate students: a peaceful and beautiful setting that is conducive to focused learning, with the vibrant energy of New England's second largest city just five minutes away. Worcester is home to 9 colleges and more than 25,000 students, over 2,000 of which call Assumption home.

Worcester has a population of 176,000 and is at the beginning of a spectacular residential and commercial redevelopment initiative.
The city continually plays host to countless favored events, such as NCAA basketball and hockey tournaments, and concerts by nationally acclaimed artists at the DCU Center. With Shrewsbury Street’s ethnic restaurants, Highland Street’s hangouts, Water Street’s entertainment district, Lake Quinsigamond’s crew races, and a downtown undergoing a $1 billion makeover, Worcester is on the move.

The natural beauties of New England are just a short drive from Assumption.
Mountains to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the east are within an hour’s drive. Also located within an hour to the east is the world-class city of Boston.
