How to Apply to The Graduate School
at Assumption

Completed applications are reviewed by the Graduate Program Admission Committees on a "rolling" basis. No standardized test is required for any program.
Our rolling admissions policy allows you to apply for admission at any time of year. Applicants are evaluated on their own academic merits and ability to complete our programs successfully. Once all the necessary documentation is received, your application materials are reviewed and a decision is made. You will be notified of the decision in writing.

All programs require: 

  • Completed Application Dated & Signed
  • $30 Application Fee (waived for AC Alumni) - Check payable to Assumption College
  • Three (3) Recommendations
  • Official Transcript(s)
  • Personal Statement
  • Current Resume
  • TOEFL or IELTS for applicants whose native language is not English

Counseling Psychology note:  If you are applying for a fellowship in the Counseling Psychology program, the application deadline is March 1.

Rehabilitation Counseling note: If you are applying for a traineeship, graduate assistantship or scholarship in Rehabilitation Counseling, the application deadline is March 29.

Students who would like to take courses before or during the application process, if eligible, may do so as a "Special Student" with permission from the Program Director.
