Prague, Krakow, & Budapest

Our Daily Itinerary (subject to change)
DAY 1: OVERNIGHT FLIGHT
Depart USA tonight on your overnight transatlantic flight for Prague, Czech Republic. Meals and snacks served on board.
DAY 2: PRAGUE – SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Upon arrival in Prague, our World Cultural Tours representative will greet us and we will begin our half-day sightseeing tour by visiting Jewish Prague, the Bohemian and Veltrusy Castles, and the Old New Synagogue. Later, we will check in to our hotel and enjoy our welcome dinner.

DAY 3: PRAGUE - PERFORMANCE
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of the city and see why it is considered one of Europe’s most attractive capitals. We will visit Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and Old Royal Palace. You will be at your leisure this afternoon for shopping or relaxation. This evening we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by an evening at the opera to see Don Giovanni / Aida.

DAY 4: PRAGUE- PERFORMANCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy an excursion to visit the Castles of Bohemia. Entrance fees are included to the Karlstein Castle and the Konopiste Castle. This evening we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and a theatre performance. (B, D) Hotel Crowne Plaza or similar
DAY 5: PRAGUE – KRAKOW
Following breakfast this morning we will check out of the hotel and transfer to Krakow via the capital of the Moravian Provence, Brno. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon of sightseeing, shopping or relaxation. Dinner is self-arranged this evening.

DAY 6: KRAKOW-PERFORMANCE
After breakfast today we depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of Auschwitz that includes entrance to the museum and the film in Auschwitz/Birkenau. We return to Krakow for dinner at a local restaurant and an evening at the theatre.

DAY 7: KRAKOW
Following breakfast this morning we will enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Krakow as we visit the Wawel Castle. It is not a simple task to describe the unique character of Kracow to those who still have not had the opportunity to visit this city. The uniqueness is primarily due to the rare cultural heritage embodied within the city’s walls. Here, in the year 1000, a Roman Catholic bishopric was founded and the residential royal castle was constructed on the Wawel Hill, becoming the site for the coronation and burial of kings, as Krakow was the capital of Poland from the 11th - 17th century. This afternoon we are at leisure to enjoy the sights, relax, and to have dinner on our own at a local restaurant. (B) Hotel Cracovia or similar
DAY 8: KRAKOW–BUDAPEST- PERFORMANCE
Following breakfast at the hotel we will transfer to our hotel in Budapest. The capital, largest city, and cultural center of Hungary, Budapest has about one-fifth of the country's population. Situated on both banks of the Danube River, Budapest is famous for
its series of graceful bridges that link the cities of Buda and Pest. Here we enjoy an evening at the opera or ballet following a restaurant dinner.

DAY 9: BUDAPEST- PERFORMANCE
We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before venturing out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Budapest, where we will see the National Gallery Museum and the Fishermen’s Bastion. The Fishermen’s Bastion is made up of seven round towers each symbolizing the seven Magyar tribes, which 1,000 years earlier were essential to the forming of the nation. We will return to the hotel for dinner at the restaurant Szeged Budapest and enjoy a final evening performance. (B, D) Hotel Grand Hungaria or similar
DAY 10: BUDAPEST – PUSZTA TOUR
Following breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a full-day excursion on a Puszta Tour, which includes a welcome drink, a glass of wine with lunch, and a riding show, followed by a horse & carriage ride. Dinner is self-arranged this evening.

DAY 11: BUDAPEST – USA
After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight home. (B) À
