Certificate in Accounting
The certificate program in Accounting provides
the student with thorough knowledge of accounting theory and
practice. It is designed for those who hope to earn a degree
but wish to acquire these marketable skills first, those who
do not intend to work toward a degree but wish to improve
their employment opportunities, and those who have already
earned a college degree but need new competence for advancement
or a career change. The credits earned may be applied toward
accounting degree program requirements in the Center.
Students whose intent is to take the CPA exam should request
the state eligibility requirements from the Center, or Download
CPA Requirements pdf.
The program consists of the eight courses listed below, at
least five of which must be taken at Assumption College.

courses)
