Certificate in Accounting/CPA Track
The certificate program in Accounting with a
CPA Track is designed to prepare holder’s of a bachelor
degree in business to obtain the knowledge necessary to prepare
to take the CPA exam. Students complete at least ten courses/30
credits beyond the bachelor degree, thereby meeting the 150-hour
requirement in Massachusetts (252 CMR), and cover recommended
courses to prepare for the exam.
The program consists of ten required courses, at least seven
of which must be taken at Assumption College. Elective courses
may be substituted for required courses already completed
as part of a bachelor degree.
