Successful participation in online courses requires that students
be familiar with information technology resources, and understand
and meet the technical
requirements for participation. It also requires that
students are fully prepared
to take an online course, and are committed to full participation and keeping up with the assignments.
Assumption College makes every effort to provide and maintain uninterrupted
IT resources, including World Wide Web connection and email, these
technology resources may occasionally be interrupted by causes beyond
our control. Assumption College shall not be responsible to refund
any tuition or fees in the event of such an occurrence; neither
shall Assumption College be liable for any consequential damages
as a result thereof. Instruction and/or course work that is interrupted,
delayed, or lost as a result of such occurrences can be completed
through arrangements made directly with the professor of the affected
course.
