President's Lecture Series: What St. Augustine Really Thought About Sex

John C. Cavadini, Ph.D., Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame and Director of the Institute of Church Life, will deliver the Annual Augustine Lecture as part of the 2013-2014 President's Lecture Series.

Dr. Cavadini's lecture, titled "What St. Augustine Really Thought About Sex" will explore some of the more prominent questions surrounding Saint Augustine and his teachings and, by examining the texts, help us understand the ideas and messages underlying the works of one of the world’s most influential thinkers.

The President’s Lecture Series is a public forum in which important ethical, spiritual and human issues are lluminated and examined within the Catholic intellectual tradition. All lectures in the series are open to the Assumption College community and the general public at no charge. RSVPs are encouraged due to limited space.
