Art in Motion: Guayasamín’s Ecuador Unframed

During all March 2015, the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library will be hosting the Mural Exhibit “Art in Motion – Guayasamín’s Ecuador Unframed,” which bridges cultural theory, mathematical analysis, media visualization, pedagogy, and computer programming in an innovative installation of the mural Ecuador (1952), a piece by Oswaldo Guayasamín, one of the most prominent Latin American artists of the Twentieth-Century.

Faculty Publications Display 2014

It’s that time again!
 
The annual Faculty Publications Display is up and running in the Library.
 
2014’s display features 72 works, and represents scholarly output from 45 Assumption College faculty members published between November 2013 and October 2014. The display is located near the Research Help Desk on Level 1 in the Library, and will be up through the end of November.
