Boys Lacrosse Camp

The Assumption College BOYS LACROSSE CAMP is designed to make each camper a more well-rounded player. It is designed for players of all levels and all positions. The morning sessions will focus on individual skills such as proper catching and throwing techniques, dodging, shooting, individual defense, feeding, conditioning and strength training. The afternoon sessions will emphasize team concepts such as team offense, team defense, fast-breaks, transition, man-up offense and man-down defense.

CAMP OBJECTIVES

• Teach the basic and necessary skills to play the game of lacrosse
• Discuss format and rules of the game
• Apply fundamentals to a game situation
• Engage in light scrimmages
• Teach the importance of team and fair play
