How to Access the Master Calendar in Outlook.

In the bottom left corner of your Outlook Navigation Pane, click on the Folder icon. The Folder List will appear on your Navigation Pane.
Click On Master Calender Click on the Plus signto the left of the Public Folders Icon, then the Plus Signto the left of All Public folders.  In both cases the will change to a Minus Signand the folders will show multiple lists. To access the AC Master Calendar, double click on the AC Master Calendar icon.


To copy individual calendar items to your calendar from the AC Master Calendar:

  • Open the AC Master Calendar
  • Click on the calendar item and drag it to your calendar in the calendar list. The item will appear in  the right day and time in your calendar.

Houndmail Users: Log into your account. Along the bottom left side of the Houndmail page, you will see a button for “Public Folders.” Click it. You should see a number of folders displayed, including “AC Master Calendar.” If you click on the title, you will see the calendar items. Houndmail users are not permitted to copy calendar items to their personal calendars.

? Copy multiple items from AC Master Calendar to your calendar

With the calendar on the screen, click on View, go to Current View and then click on Category. The appointments will appear by category with a list of headings at the top. You can click on the headings to sort by any of the titles. For example, if you wanted to add all the First Year Student Orientation dates to your calendar, you would sort by Subject (the list will be in alphabetical order from A to Z. If you want to sort from Z to A, click on Subject again and the list will resort in descending order. You can sort by any heading in the list.

If you want to copy several adjacent items to your calendar, click on the first item, hold the shift key and click on the last item. Release the shift key and click on the selected list and drag to your calendar icon in the folder list. All items selected will move.

If you want to copy non-adjacent items to your calendar, click on the first item, hold the CTRL key and click on other items you want to copy. When you are finished selecting, release the CTRL key and click on any item and drag it to your calendar icon in the folder list. All items selected will move.
