Blackboard Calendar and Task ToolsOverviewBlackboard has a calendar tool that permits instructors to post important dates in their courses. You can use this tool to keep track of personal appointments or class related deadlines. The task tool allows you to create your own personal to-do list. Both the calendar and task tools display their entries on the My Assumption tab, in either the My Calendar or My Tasks modules. Using My CalendarFrom the My Assumption page, click on the "Calendar" link in the tools box on the left side of the screen:

On the My Calendar page, Click add event to add an entry or click one of the tabs to see various calendar views, by day, by week, by month, by year. Using the drop down menu to the right you can filter by the type of event.
Creating a calendar entry is as simple as filling in the form when you click on the "Add Event" button.
Click the submit button to add the event to your personal calendar.
