Welcome to the Information Technology Dept at Assumption College

A broad range of technologies and support are available at Assumption. This site is designed to help you survey and find the resources that are available and information about how to deal with technology-related "challenges." If you would like help with, say, authoring a web page, using Blackboard for a class, bookmarking a DVD for classroom use, podcasting a class, finding out what smart classrooms are available or getting help with a stuck printer, this is a good place to look. If you are in need of help right now, call the IT Hub at 7060.

We also publish most of our training schedules, policies, documentation, and plans here. So check them out to see, for example, what our planning group envisions for the next few years.

	Get connected! The Campus has a very fast connection to both the standard Internet and the research Internet II.
Students get free access from any residence hall room on the campus. Wireless access is available from a growing number of locations.

	A new walk-in Center opened this year called the IT Hub. It is in the basement of the IT Center.
Come in with your questions. There is a special spae for students to work on their computers and sort out problems with help from expert students (our ResNet Computer Counselors).
