Recreational Sports Director
Ann McCarron
Entering her eleventh year at the College, Ann McCarron is the first and only Director of Recreational Sports in the College's history.Shewas appointed just before the opening of the Plourde Center in January 1993. She is the one person responsible for the development of the College's recreation and intramural program as a national model for small colleges. Nearly 80 percent of the campus population uses the facilities in the Plourde Recreation Center under her direction. McCarron came to the College with extensive experience in the recreational field having served in a similar capacity at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH (1988-93). She previously served as the Summer Recreation Director for Martha's Vineyard, MA (1991-92) and at New England College in Henniker, NH (1986-88). She received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, NH in 1986 and a Masters of Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, AL in 1990. A former standout athlete, she has also coached girl's basketball at Bishop Brady High in Concord, NH and Ashland, NH High. She also served as assistant women's basketball coach at Plymouth State College in Plymouth, NH. She is a certified basketball official and a member of the Central Massachusetts Women's Board. She is also an active member of the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association serving on the National Special Events Committee and the Family Youth Committee. She was the New Hampshire State Director in 1991. And, she ran and completed the Boston marathon in 1994. She resides in Worcester with her son, Quinn.

Assistant Recreational Sports Director
Patrick Guerette
Patrick is excited to start his professional career in recreation atAssumption College. He received his Masters of Education degree in the spring of 2007 from the University of Maine.  During his graduate work he served as a Graduate Assistant in the Campus Recreation Department overseeing Sport Clubs and Intramurals. Patrick also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine in  Kinesiology and Physical Education.  He competed on the Cross-Country and Track team while pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree.

Administrative Assistant
Tori Boucher
Tori moved from Boston to Shrewsbury in 2003 and brings with her six years of administrative assistant experience. Tori is continuing her education during the evenings to finish her degree and is excited to be part of the Assumption College community.

Aquatics Coordinator
Cheryl Cote
A graduate of Assumption in 1994 with a
degree in English & Psychology, Cheryl Cote has served as the Aquatics Coordinator for the past seven years. She has been involved with the Learn-To-Swim program for the past nine years, while also training the lifeguard staff at the Plourde Center. She is a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor. Cheryl is also a full time teacher at North High School in Worcester and a supervisor at the State pool in Clinton, MA.

Building Supervisors - On weekends and on holidays you may see our other professionals supervising the Plourde.
