| Sara Frankel is a powerful and passionate painter, and teacher. Her work distills the dissonanace of contemporary cultural experience, personal experience, and issues from the History of Art, into a narrative form that is powerful , suggestive and aggresive. There is a wealth of understanding in her work of the artists that have preceeded her, but her own work is original and compelling. The juxtaposition of unlikely images can inspire, susrprise, and compel reflection. |
