Academic Onefile contains 8,000 academic journals, the majority in full-text, available in HTML and PDF formats. In addition it contains hundreds of podcasts and transcripts from NPR, CNN, and the CBC, as well as full-text New York Times content to 1995.

Available via Johns Hopkins University Press. Coverage is from 1993 to the present. This is a database of over 100 full text scholarly journals mainly within the past five years.

Incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.

SIRSResearcher -
Available via FirstSearch. Coverage is from 1988 to the present. Abstracts are available from 1994 to present. References include social, scientific, economic, and political issues worldwide from over 1200 domestic and international newspapers, periodicals and government publications.

World Development Indicators (WDI) Online
Provides direct access to more than 800 development  indicators, with time series for 209 countries  and 18 country groups from 1960 to 2007, where data are available.
