West Lafayette, OHIO --- Assumption College playing in its first N.C.A.A. Northeast Super Regional Tournament are in third-place after two rounds (36 holes) as a team, while junior ERIC NAGLIERI (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) continues his season long tear with a second-round 77 to go with his first round 75 and a 152 total.

Naglieri trails Jason Clary of Bryant (78-72--150) and Mike Lesch of LeMoyne (74-77--151) in the race for the individual regional title.

Northeast-10 Conferences rival Bryant College (618) and LeMoyne College (636) lead the event after 36 holes. The Greyhounds are third (642) head of Bentley College (646). The tournament is hosted by the University of Charleston, WV on the 6.586-yard, par 72 River Green's Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio.

Seventy nine teams and 44 individuals were selected to participate in the 2002 N.C.A.A. Division II Men's Golf Championship Super Regionals. All teams and individuals will play three rounds of 18-holes to determine those who move on to the national final. Eighteen teams and 12 individuals advance to the championship May 21-24 at the Mission in Golf Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The final is hosted by Rollins College.

Naglieri has played 14 rounds of golf this season, including the fall, and has turned in 13 rounds of 79 or less. His 'worst' round has been an 80 in the second round of the New England Invitational.
