The Cathedral of St. Paul - 38 High Street, Worcester
His Excellency, Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, Bishop of Worcester, will preside at this Mass. This religious celebration is open to all graduating students, their families and their guests. There is no limit to the number of people who may attend.
All graduating students, their families and guests are invited. (No tickets needed.) The Cathedral is handicapped accessible. Parking is at a premium, although there are parking lots and garages in the vicinity. Please allow yourself ample time to find parking. Please see the attached map for available parking locations adjacent to the Cathedral of St. Paul. Please do not park in any lots that are shown as “No Parking” on this map, cars will be towed from private lots.

Graduating students report in cap and gown.

Tickets are not required, and there is no limit on the number of guests who may attend.
Special note: Commencement exercises at WPI (also located along on Salisbury Street) are scheduled for the same day. To lessen traffic delays, please plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m.
12:00 Noon - Plourde Recreation Center
Graduates and their guests may celebrate with faculty at a dessert reception immediately following Commencement exercises. (No tickets needed.)
Academic Regalia (cap and gown)
If you are a candidate for graduation, and have been financially and academically cleared to graduate, you may pick up your cap and gown at the Assumption College Bookstore the week prior to commencement. To insure that we have the correct size for you, you may order your regalia online through the following link: Assumption College student cap and gown order form. If you have questions regarding your academic regalia, please contact the Assumption College Bookstore at 508-767-7211.

Announcements / Invitations
The announcements are not tickets, but a formal written announcement of your impending graduation that you can share with family and friends. Announcements and class rings can be ordered online through the following link: Josten's, Inc.
Click here if you would like to preorder flowers for your graduate. You may pick up your flowers the morning of commencement outside the Multi Sports Stadium. Flowers will also be available for purchase outside of the Multi Sports Stadium on commencement day.
Assumption College has contracted with Commencement Photos, Inc., to take close-up photos of each individual student as you receive your diploma. There will be two different photography shots taken of each student during the ceremony; one as they receive their diploma (action shot) and one as they exit the stage with diploma in hand (posed shot). Parents, family, and friends will be allowed to take pictures only from designated spots along the sides of the tent. Commencement Photos, Inc., will contact each student at his/her home address regarding the ordering and purchasing of the photos. Questions? Assumption College has contracted Collins Video Services of Fitchburg to videotape the Commencement Exercises. The company will contact each student at his/her home address regarding placing an order for the video. It will also be possible to order a copy of the video on the day of Commencement.

Moving Out of Residence Halls
Students are expected to move out of campus housing by 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Staff will be available in each area until then, or students can utilize the express checkout system. All trash must be removed, and all carpeting, floors, appliances, and fixtures should be cleaned to the best of your ability. If you have any additional questions, please contact Residential Life at ext. 7505.
