Frank Corbin has held the position of college organist at Assumption College since 1989. He was appointed Director of Chapel Music in 1999, overseeing the liturgical music program of the college chapel. In addition, he teaches organ, piano and Music Theory in the Department of Fine Arts, and is Chair of the college’s concert series, Humanarts. Corbin completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree and Performer’s Certificate at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. He holds additional degrees from Oberlin College (B. Mus.), University of Cincinnati (M. Mus.), and Concordia University, Montréal (Diploma in Advanced PerforMance Studies). Corbin has been a top-prize winner in several national and international contests and his recording of works of César Franck, including the Three Chorals, was recently released on the Centaur label.
Frank Corbin has been involved in numerous recording projects. He performs on the recently released Great Organs of Worcester, a 2-CD recording project he spearheaded featuring 16 historic pipe organs in the city of Worcester.
