Assumption's social life has a lot to offer. The Office of Student Activities works closely with students, faculty and campus groups like the Campus Activities Board to organize, publicize and implement a wide variety of cocurricular activities ranging from lectures to performances to opportunities to have fun with your family.
Major events include:
Family Weekend allows Assumption students an excuse to see family and friends from home. It takes place during the fall semester and features an active carnival, evening programs, and plenty to do for family members of all ages.
Siblings Weekend is some serious fun for the brothers and sisters of Assumption students. It takes place in the spring semester and provides activities for siblings of all ages with inflatable bounce houses, various take home novelties, and evening programs that is sure to leave lasting memories.
Assumption students dress up for two major formal events twice a year for a Winter and Spring Ball. These events are geared to Juniors and Seniors and have traditionally been held off campus.
Each Spring students are treated to a major concert which is voted on by the student body. Past performers include: Gavin DeGraw; Third Eye Blind; Sarah Bareilles; Jay Sean and O.A.R.

Charlie’s at Hagan Campus Center is transformed into a night club with off campus guest DJs and pub trivia.
Every weekend, Hagan Campus Center is transformed into the “local movie theatre.” Students enjoy a free movie with complimentary popcorn and snacks.
Christmas in Charlie’s
The last day of classes of the Fall semester is celebrated with Christmas cheer. The Office of Student Activities and various student organizations treat students to holiday activities and treats.
Once a year, the Office of Student Activities hosts a leadership speaker and a hot breakfast for the Assumption student body to give them the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills.
Club and Organization Fairs
At the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters, clubs and organizations come together to share information with students who are looking to get involved in one of Assumption’s 60 clubs and organizations.
Campus Activities Board
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization that plans social events for the student body at least three times a month. From the big spring concert and holiday ball to coffee house concerts and big prize bingo, CAB’s goal is to make sure that students are having fun, all semester long!
