FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is The Centennial Campaign?
The Centennial Campaign, Assumption’s most ambitious ever, will raise a minimum of $30 million by May 31, 2006, to construct a new science center, renovate current buildings, fund scholarships and support the Annual Fund. More than $14 million has already been contributed by trustees, friends and foundations toward its $30 million goal.

2. What is the goal of The Centennial Campaign?
The primary goal of The Centennial Campaign is to seek enhanced levels of private support to build financial strength in several institutional areas, including:

- $15 million for Capital Projects, including the new Science Center, and renovations to existing facilities

- $10 million for the Endowment, to enhance our program, faculty, and scholarship resources

- $5 million for the Annual Fund

3. Why should I contribute to The Centennial Campaign?
The Centennial Campaign is an investment in Assumption’s mission as a Catholic, liberal arts and sciences college. Your gift will increase merit and need-based scholarships, expand and improve classrooms and laboratories, and enhance the College’s reputation in the Northeast. Broad participation in the Campaign indicates a vital college community and attracts new donors. Enhanced resources and an expanded donor base keep an Assumption education affordable for our students and rewarding for our faculty.

4. How does The Campaign relate to the Annual Fund?
All gifts to the Annual Fund will count toward The Centennial Campaign through the 2005-2006 academic year.

5. How would you prefer the allocation of my gift?
Funding for the Science Center is the College’s priority, but you may allocate your gift to support the Annual Fund, endowment needs, or other areas identified as campaign priorities.
