Simoneau AP'60, '64 and
Rev. Terrence Dougherty, O.C.D. were the
2004 recipients
at the Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony.
Fr. Terry received the Honorary Alumnus Award. He
taught full-time in the Social and Rehabilitation
Services Department for 23 years and continues to
teach part-time today.
Joe was presented with the Jack L. Bresciani ’72
Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna Award. He has served on
Alumni Boards and numerous Reunion Committees for
both Assumption Prep and the College.
Don was the recipient of the Fr. Louis
Dion, A.A. ’35 Outstanding Achievement Award.
Don worked his way up the ladder to CEO of Big Y Foods,
a privately owned grocery chain with 44 stores employing
more than 7,500 employees in Southern New England.
