On Saturday morning, three awards were presented on behalf
of the Alumni Association. Ken Moynihan
(Prep '62, and long-time professor of History at Assumption)
introduced Moe Boisvert, recipient of
this year's Outstanding Achievement Award. (Bro.
Armand Lemaire, 2001's Outstanding Alumnus
Award recipient looks on.)

Moe gives his acceptance speech on the patio of the President's
House. Moe was recognized for his outstanding career as
a youth advocate as founder and CEO of YOU, Inc., in Worcester.
|

Mike True, professor of English Emeritus, was selected
as this year's honorary alumnus.
|

Mike, Mary Pat and the family (who came in from far and
wide and surprised Mike by showing up at the ceremony).

Rocky LeForestier, Wayne Thomas and John Corazzini at
the barbecue.

The D'Alzon Library sponsored a reception for the Class
of 1966 on Saturday afternoon. We invited a number of
former faculty. Here we find Terri and George Doyle, Fr.
Donat Lamothe, and our librarian, Dawn Thistle.
|

The reason for our reception in the Library was an exhibition
of Fritz Eichenberg etchings donated by Wayne Thomas.
(It was also the first time Jim Bellanca had ever seen
a library. Frank Dever's record is still unblemished.
He couldn't find the library.)
