Total Giving to Assumption College during the 2006-07 year exceeded $4 million, a full 10% over our total in 2006. And, for the Annual Fund set a new record, raising $1.17 million, 17% higher than a year ago. This is the second consecutive year, and just the fourth time ever, that the Annual Fund was more than $1 million.
Parents giving to the Annual Fund reached an all-time high of $130,853 with a remarkable 42% a parents participating.
Reunion classes contributed nearly $375,000 to the 2006-07 development effort. Ten new records for Annual Giving, Total Giving, and participation were set this year. The 25th Reunion Class of 1982 had the highest Annual Gift, with $38,830, and the 30th Reunion Class of 1977 had the highest Total Gift, with $94,057. Our 55th Reunion Class of 1957 had a remarkable 55% participation.

Non-Reunion Class:
Bob Lambert and George Rice – Class of 1963
The Class of ’63 had 9 new donors out of a class member base of just 43, which represented a 45% increase, and finished the year with just 1 LYBUNT. They experienced a 65% increase in their Annual Gift and their 67% participation rate was the highest for any class agents – including the reunion classes.
Reunion Classes:
John DiPietro – Class of 1972
The Class of 1972 experienced a 31% increase in donors, a 100% increase in their Annual Gift, and a 134% increase in their Total Gift. Their $24,938 gift was a personal record for the Class of ’72.
Phil Sarocco and Carolyn Clancy – Class of 1982
In their 25th Reunion year, the Class of 1982 increased their Annual Giving 112% percent and set new records for both Annual and Total Giving. They also had a 20% increase in their donors over 2006. They also set two new 25th Reunion Records, with $38,830 to the Annual Fund and $50,553 in Total Giving.
