Reunion Giving Program
Reunion classes make a special presentation
to the president of Assumption College during Reunion Weekend
of the total funds they donated to the College during that
Annual Fund year.
The Reunion Giving Program emphasizes increased
participation in the Annual Fund and increased giving to the
College. Alumni in a reunion class are asked to consider making
a significantly increased gift in honor of their reunion. Classmates
who have not given in recent years are encouraged to recognize
their reunion by making a gift to the Annual Fund. Most
reunion classes strive for 50% class participation or better
in a reunion year.
Most Reunion Class Gifts are gifts to the Annual
Fund. Gifts must be received by Reunion Weekend in order to
count toward the Class Gift total. Matching gifts are credited
to the individual donor and are counted in the Class Gift total.
Alumni who work for a matching gift company are encouraged
to take full advantage of this opportunity and to give early
so their match arrives before Reunion.
The following Giving Clubs have been designated
by the College to recognize its annual donors:
President's Council:
Founder's Club $10,000+
Benefactor's Club $5,000-$9,999
Councilor's Club $2,500-$4,999
President's Club $1,000-$2,499

President's Council members provide leadership
gifts to the Annual Fund. These donations help fund student
scholarships and other College priorities. The highlight of
membership is the elegant black-tie dinner each fall. All
donors of $1,000 or more are recognized as President's Club
donors. Those who commit to maintaining this level of support
are inducted into the President's Council and receive a symbol
of membership.
Associate Membership is offered to alumni who graduated less than 10 years ago at the levels indicated above. For their fifth reunion, Associate members arte asked to step-up to the $500 level; for their tenth reunion they are asked to step-up to the $1,000 annual level. |
