Rev. Warren J. Savage ’75

Warren received of the College’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1985 for his work as vice chair of the Western Massachusetts regional campaign for Assumption College. He also served on the Western Massachusetts campaign to fundraise for a new recreation complex for the Assumption campus. Rev. Savage earned a master's degree from the Gregorian University in Rome (1979) and was awarded an honorary degree from Notre Dame College in 1992. Affiliated with Project Reach Out in Westfield, MA, Rev. Savage has served on several boards of directors including the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus, Hands Together Inc., the National Catholic AIDS Network and the National Council for Community and Justice.
