J. Oscar Rocheleau, Esq. ’28

J. Oscar Roscheleau received the College’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1983. A member of the Assumption basketball and tennis teams as an undergraduate, Oscar was instrumental in developing Greyhound athletics. After graduation and for many years to come, Oscar and his family began rebuilding many of the athletic fields, including the baseball field which is named for his brother, H. Louis Rocheleau ’24.

Oscar co-owned the law firm Healy & Rocheleau in Worcester for many years and received an honorary degree from Assumption in 1980. Oscar has since passed away.
