Gloria J. Plourde HA’95

Gloria received the College’s Honorary Alumna Award in 1995 in recognition for her many contributions to Assumption College. A former member of the Board of Trustees (1989-96), she has been an honorary trustee since 1996. Gloria and husband Roger are long-time friends and generous supporters of the College. Roger was awarded an honorary degree from Assumption in 1988. A wing of the Emmanuel d’Alzon Library is named for them, as was the Plourde Recreation Center, which opened in 1993. Lifetime members of the President’s Council, the Plourdes enjoy attending alumni events at Assumption, on Cape Cod and in Florida.
