Daniel A. Micari ’71, G’73

Dan Micari received the College’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1997 for his hard work and dedication to Assumption College. He has been an active member of many committees for the College, including the Steering Committee for Campaign and the Connecticut Regional Committee for the Plourde Recreation Center. We was a member of both the Alumni Board (1989-91) and the Parents Committee from 1994 to 2001. He was the Annual Fund Chair (1985-87), president of the Alumni Board (1989-91) and the Parents Committee Chair (1997-98). Dan also chaired the Dollars for Scholars Ball in the late ’70s and was class reunion chair for his 25th reunion and a member of the committee for his 35th reunion.

Dan earned a M.A. in social and rehabilititation services from Assumption in 1973. He has lectured in the College's human services and rehabilitation studies since 1991 and is employed by the Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation.
