Bro. John Thomas McHugh, A.A. HA’02

Brother J.T. received the College’s Honorary Alumnus Award in 2002. Bro. J.T. joined the Assumptionists in 1951 and came to Assumption in 1966, where he served as postmaster of the campus post office for three years. Later, he directed the College's print shop (1971-92). Brother J.T. became a fixture on the campus and still attends many student and alumni events. He returned to Assumption in 1995 and resides at the Assumptionists’ residence on Old English Road. Bro. J.T. has also done chaplaincy work with wheelchair patients at Providence House in Worcester.
