Chair of AC’s department of art and music, Michelle has served as a member of the faculty since 1984. She is professor of music and director of the AC Chorale, which she has led on 10 national and international concert tours, in addition to performing concerts on campus and in the greater Worcester community. She has been a guest conductor of massed choirs and adjudicator for several local and state festivals and auditions. In addition, Michelle conducts the Salisbury Singers of Worcester, and is president of the Massachusetts American Choral Directors Association. She resides in Westborough with husband Kent Stout, daughters Claire and Madeleine, and son Robert.
