Robert Bonin HA’76

Bob received the College’s Honorary Alumna Award in 1976 to recognize his friendship and support of Assumption College. The former owner of the now defunct Ground Round Restaurant on Route 9 in Shrewsbury near Spag’s, he decorated it with Worcester-area memorabilia. The function room at Bob’s restaurant was a popular choice for Assumption College gatherings. Bob has also hosted and catered many athletic events. He resides in Worcester and operates Cole & Bonin, Inc., a restaurant quality control company in Worcester.
