
Brother Robert Beaulac, A.A. HA’80
Brother Robert received the College’s Honorary Alumna Award in 1980. He came to Assumption College in 1961 after serving as a cook and mantenance director at the Assumptionist Novitiate in Saugerties, NY and the Assumptionist High School Seminary in Cassadaga, NY. He served the last 39 years of his life at Assumption, where he held a wide variety of positions including residence hall director, post office employee, infirmarian, "ambassador-at-large" and director of health services. He was the consummate adviser and friend to thousands of students, employees, parents, alumni and visitors. He received many awards to acknowledge his extraordinary service to the College, including the Rev. Joseph Pelletier, A.A. Memorial Award from the athletic department for service "above and beyond," and a President’s Medal from the College in 1996. He passed away in 2000.
