New Programs:
- Music Major
- Peace and Conflict Studies Minor (pending approval of the Board of Trustees)
Discontinued Program: the WPI 3:2 Program has been discontinued. Class of 2011 is grandfathered in, but will be the last class considered for admission to this program.
New Names for Old Programs or Courses:
- Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) is now Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies (HRS); the SRS Institute will maintain its former name
- Foundations Program is now the Fortin and Gonthier Foundations of Western Civilization Program
- ENG/SOC 425 “Seminar in Service Learning,” is now IDS 425
- Continuing Education is now the Center for Continuing and Career Education
New in the Core:
- MUS125, “World Music” now counts as Art, Music, and Theatre
- LAS200, “Introduction to Latin American Studies” now counts as a Social Science
- BIO140, “Biology for Education Concentrators” counts as a Natural Science w/ a Lab
- HIS/PSY/SOC 285 “Women’s Studies: Images” is now listed as CLT, too, and as such counts in the Humanities depth as a second literature
- ART175 Introduction to Digital Photography does NOT count as an Art option in the Core.
