Where did you live your first year on campus?
I lived in Hanrahan Hall. I had a great experience because I lived with many other people who were in my classes. It was easy to walk down the hall whenever I needed help. We became so close and created our own little family in the dorm. I couldn't have asked for a better first year experience.

What is your favorite place to eat in Worcester? Wonder Bar Pizza has to be one of my favorite places to eat in Worcester. I actually heard about it from my management professor sophomore year and it's been one of my favorites since I went.

What is your favorite campus tradition? Midnight Madness has to be my favorite event on campus. Everyone shows so much school spirit and it is so much fun cheering on all of the Assumption winter sports teams.

Why did you choose Assumption? I loved the sense of community here at Assumption. The professors care so much about their students here and really care to go out of their way to help them succeed. And there is always something to do and new people to meet, whether it be through an intramural sport or some type of club on campus.

What advice do you have for a student in the college search process? As a senior in high school, I wish I knew that it's okay not to have your life completely figured out. I thought I knew what I wanted to do in college and it turns out I was wrong. But it wasn't something I was scared or nervous about because I knew, especially after coming here, that there would be people to help me figure out what I want to do and continually help me along the way.

What is your favorite place on campus? I love being in my residence hall. It's probably my favorite place on campus because there is always so much to do and different people to be around.

Where is your favorite place to go in Worcester?  My favorite place to eat in Worcester is probably New England Roast Beef, mostly because I love the sandwiches. They have so many different choices and the service is great. They have the best Italian this side of the Mississippi.

What is your favorite event on campus? My favorite event, other than soccer games, is probably Midnight Madness. It is a lot of fun and shows the pride Assumption has for the athletic teams. You also get great memorabilia like towels, shirts and all different kinds of things.

Where did you live your first year? I lived in Salisbury Hall. It was an awesome experience because I got to know all the different people on my floor and met so many friends I still have today. I also had great roommates that made my college experience that much better.

Why did you choose Assumption? I chose Assumption because of its great location, the people on campus, the relationships with professors, the academics and the opportunity to play college soccer. It is a place I pictured myself excelling in all aspects of my life.

What do you wish you knew as a senior in high school? One thing I wish I knew when I was a senior is how quickly the time passes and to cherish school while it lasts. Don't worry about the transition to college because it all works out in the end.

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is Plourde becuase I always meet friends there to play games or work out. I always have fun there. Another favorite of mine is Charlie's. They make great stir-fry and salads that I live off for most of the year. It is a great place to meet friends between classes and relax.
