Applying to Assumption as a Transfer Student

Assumption College welcomes and encourages your application for undergraduate admission.

  • All required documents for admission in the fall semester must be submitted before July 1.
  • All required documents for admission in the spring semester must be submitted before December 15.


A complete transfer application includes the following:
  • The application itself and designated supplemental forms
  • A personal statement about your college education and why attending Assumption College will be of value to you
  • Official college transcripts with at least 12 credits of coursework completed (24 is preferable) and a GPA of 2.5 or better
  • College Official's Report. Use our form.
  • Official high school transcript or official General Education Development (GED) Test.
  • TOEFL scores if English is not your primary language
    Assumption College’s TOEFL Code is: 3009
  • Letter of recommendation from a professor at the last college attended. Use this form.
  • Application fee of $50 made payable to Assumption College
  • A current college progress report if required. Use our form.
  • Catalog Web site address from each college attended

Test Scores
Submission of standardized test scores (SAT-1 or ACT) is optional and applicants who choose not to submit SAT or ACT test scores will not be penalized in the review for admission.  If English is your second language, TOEFL scores are required.  Students who want to submit their test scores should use the following codes:
  • Assumption's SAT-I code is 3009
  • Assumption's ACT code is 1782
  • If English is your second language, send TOEFL scores : Assumption’s code is 3009.
