I manage the state grant and loan programs as well as the private educational loans. I counsel students with last names G-N. I have been working at Assumption College a little over a year. What I love about Assumption is the feeling of community that is shared between the faculty, staff, as well as the students. I truly believe and know that students that attend here receive a quality education that will allow them to succeed in their educational endeavors.

It is my privilege to work with students and their families finding resources that make a college education affordable. My life long work in financial aid has made a difference to the students that attend Assumption College and there is no greater reward than to see those students reach their potential with diploma in hand. Being responsible for a budget of over $24 million dollars is not an easy task and at times the dollars do not stretch far enough to meet family needs. I believe that every student deserves to attend the college of their choice whatever their family background. As a mother of four college graduates, I know the true meaning of sacrifice and the education that my children have received was not an expense, it was an investment. At Assumption College our counselors will lend their expertise through the financial process and will be happy to direct to you all resources that may be available to you. I have been at Assumption since December 2009. Not only have I found it to be a beautiful campus, I have found that it is a wonderful place to work. From the time I turn into the campus and get a wave and smile from the gatehouse guard, till the time I leave the office, I feel a friendly and warm atmosphere. I really enjoy working in the Financial Aid office. It’s nice being a part of such a caring group of people that are dedicated to doing everything we can to help each student find all the funding they are eligible for, so that they may attain the education they desire.

I enjoy being able to assist students with the steps needed to obtain their financial aid while managing the office to ensure the process goes smoothly and efficiently for all.
