The Admissions Committee understands that grading standards vary from school to school, or from one course to another. Class rank provides some context within which to place the grades of students applying from a given school. Some schools also provide grade distribution charts. Finally, the Admissions Committee also considers whether the applicant's grade-point average or rank-in-class is weighted or unweighted.
The number of solid academic courses, including the number of honors or Advanced Placement-level courses, are considered during the application review process. Submission of standardized test scores (SAT-1 or ACT) is optional and applicants who choose not to submit SAT or ACT test scores will not be penalized in the review for admission.
To be considered for fall admission, all required documents must be submitted no later than July 1. For spring semester admission, all required documents must be submitted no later than December 21.
