The Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy hosts internationally recognized psychologists and psychiatrists during its annual lecture series and offers numerous clinical workshops and conferences on cognitive therapy for Mental Health professionals and students. Recent clinical workshops have addressed developments in cognitive therapy for depression and suicide in children, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders (posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder), and effective parenting skills.

Current Assumption students can attend most of the institute’s programs at no cost. In addition, the Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy awards a certificate to those students who complete the concentration in cognitive-behavioral therapies through their program.
