Degree Requirements

The marketing major requires that students take 8 business courses (24 credits), 6 specific liberal arts courses (18 credits), and 4 elective business courses (12 credits) as part of the marketing curriculum.


To earn a minor in marketing, students must take 21 credits in business including 1 management course (3 credits), 1 marketing course (3 credits), 1 accounting course (3 credits) and 4 electives (12 credits).

There are other interesting marketing electives available through Assumption College’s participation in the Colleges of Worcester Consortium. With the permission of the Department Chair, Assumption students can cross register for courses at 11 other institutions in the Worcester region.
