Internships

Internships provide Assumption College undergraduates with opportunities to take theory from the classroom and apply it, gaining hands-on experience that will enhance their education.

Practical experience is one of the key factors in landing a great job or in differentiating your application for graduate school. Each year, more than 300 Assumption students enrich their studies and gain on-the-job experience through internships and practica.

    Internship Blogs

Every semester approximately 25 students enroll in the Internship in Business course and intern at companies throughout Central Massachusetts. This seminar course with Professor Arlene DeWitt enables students to gain hands-on experience and then review what they are learning onsite with other members of the seminar class. Each week during the semester, one or more students will be blogging about their experiences.
