Program Overview

Information Technology makes the modern world work. An increasingly connected world that depends on increasingly complex systems and technology to keep it running requires individuals who not only understand that technology but can apply that knowledge to other areas.

The Information Technology minor curriculum includes computerized auditing, enterprise applications, medical informatics, network security, data analytics and e-commerce. It offers three different tracks for students, each with its own focus. The Applied Track is designed for students majoring in accounting, the Online Track is centered around marketing and organizational communication and the third track, Analytical, is for students majoring in management or international business.

Along with specialized courses, each track helps each student build the strong core technology skills they’ll need as well as the marketing abilities that will help them get noticed and make the most of their knowledge and experience.

Minor in Information Technology

The IT Minor consists of six courses, which comprise two required courses, and four electives taken in the Applied Track, the Online Track) or the Analytical Track.
