Students concentrating in Working with Children and Adolescents in Community Settings must take 6 courses specific to the field as well as a course involving a field placement in an approved community setting

- HRS 221 Applications of Learning, Behavior and Motivational Theory OR PSY 353 Psychology of Learning
- HRS 321 Social Skills Training with At-Risk Youth
- HRS 331 Basic Concepts and Principles in Applied Behavioral Analysis
- HRS 420 Family and Disability
Field Placement in an approved Community Setting:
- HRS 490 Internship in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies (HSRS Majors only) OR HRS 400 Individual in the Community (Non HSRS Majors)
